Coin Shop Finds Today: Another Top 100 VAM and Just Another Neat VAM

I picked up two new Morgans:

1888-O VAM 9 Top 100, Doubled Arrows

And

1885-O VAM 1A, Rusted Wing Variety. Just thought this one looked pretty neat.

Each grade MS62, but I am happy with them. Just the fun of finding the Top 100s is very nice.

Did you purchase them as VAMs or were you just lucky ?

I cherrypicked them from the same dealer I cherrypicked last week when I found 11 or 12 Top 100s.

Nice find. I'd definetly give that dealer more business. The VAM-9 sometimes comes as a rotated reverse...if you haven't checked.

I just checked. Not a rotated reverse. Thank you for the info though. I will use it in future pickings.

I love the 85O rusted wing. That is just the neatest darn variety. Never seen anything quite like it.
