Took some time out to re-photograph my German loot tonight. I will have had 9 months in this country by the time I leave (sort of) so I have in total 9 pieces (I bought the 9th on preemptively). So I put together a sort of showpiece displaying all of them. There's a wide range of coins and medals, and there's even a plaque. Some are dirt cheap, others not so. But they're pieces I'll probably hold on indefinitely.

Thanks. I noticed my Germania has started toning for some reason.

EDIT: I mean it was already toned, it just has more yellow tone since I got it in September.

No. I just left it in the envelope for a month and the next time I looked at it boom - toning. In fact everything you see here are in envelopes, they'll have to go into proper storage when I get home.

Phil, one outstanding presentation and great images, I have always admired that 1895 peice, the young lady with the blue toning.....
