educational threads are best. you know, the ones that get little to no response unless they're made by the right member.

  • I like a "variety" thread with pictures........ But enough of the 3 leggers already......... show me some OLD cuds, die breaks, repunched dates, mis-placed dates, OLD doubled dies......... Teach me something.......

Show me RARE - Relatively inexpensive coins.......... These are the ones you wanna buy-hold for 2-3-4 years.......

Show me WHY a coin is a cam / deep cam / ultra cam...........

Actually, show me ANYTHING that the poster is an EXPERT in the field, tell me why the coin you're showing is special, TEACH me something, and I WILL enjoy the thread !

Definitely the educational threads but especially when they're about newer coins
or anything off the beaten path. Really some of the others are pretty good too when
people are giving considered opinions or arcane knowledge. I'd probably like the
picture threads but most of them take too long to load. Anything about any coins
or related subject can turn into a pretty good thread.

Any topic that helps people grow their skills in any aspect of coin collecting! With pictures is an added plus! I also like to share in the joy others feel when they've found that "Special" coin they've been searching for! Lee
