Based on the other auctions he has run (pictures of football players and cars for $0.01) I would guess he is trying to pad his feedback. With his name including "free ipod" I suspect that he'll be running a scam on those at some point.

And yet they were able to turn on their computer, visit eBay and pluck this lame-o auction amongst plenty of legit ones!

I never use eBay and guess I'm a little stupid too. If I hit bid, how does the weasel get my money? Obviously I can copy the auction picture on my computer free, but does he have a way to actually get my money from eBay?

The seller in this auction bought pictures from 2 other sellers who were running Dutch Auctions starting at .01 with thousands of "items" available. The items were a picture to be emailed to them. In each auction this guy bought 1 picture delivered via email for .01. He's a newbie and it looks like he was trying to run a Dutch Auction of a picture like those he won but messed up the listing. Now why the bidders were so foolish is another question....
