Canadian Gold - where is it?

I heard some time back about Canadian plans to release the last of its gold hoards. It was supposed to be composed of $5, $10 and soverigns. Just wondering when they might be hitting the market or if the buyers are now hoarding them? I was hoping for a price drop image

I believe they are still holding onto the legal tender coins, but have sold off all of the bullion/bars/etc.

I asked the same question on another forum and was told that the coins were probably melted long ago (despite what Haxby wrote in Striking Impressions).
