OK, so what does a '65 sms set weigh, and how much over would it have to be to be silver. What if the weight comes out to be halfway between these two numbers?

No. I think the seller is full of crap. There are plenty of these where it is difficult enough to see the clad layer, even when out of the plastic. If graded by a reputable service, it would sell for retirement money. Why is it still in the set?
Neither......seller wouldn't come through with pics of the 3rd side nor the weight of the coin. I think he got scared of Marty and I hitting him with the questions.
