I bought two really nice 1970 sets like that a few years ago for $8 a pop and was really pleased. I recently sold one for $20.

At a mintage of 750,000, you're looking at the commonest of all British proof sets.

That said, $6 is a good deal. The set frequently sells for twice that or more.

I have to admit I have a real liking for the 1971 set, probably more than any other. How do the reverses look? From the photo the obverses look haze free.

Do I smell a giveaway?
