How does one tell the difference between a 21 Morgan struck from the so-called Zerbe "proof" dies, and a non-Zerbe dollar ???

<< <i>Zerbe "proofs" can be identified by a small die scratch from the second U in UNUM to the denticles >>
Except that coins struck from Zerbe dies would also have the same die scratch. I would think that the only way you could tell would be by the quality of the strike.
