If so lets see it or better yet, them.
Here is a pretty cool all original 18S that arrived this week. A forum member or two should remember this one.
Hey if you dont have a Merc lets just see something before 1947.

1916 Pattern Mercury Dime Judd-1983 Rarity-8
A wonderful and extremely rare pattern Mercury Dime. This example graded VF30 with nice even gray surfaces with some darker toning areas in places. There are many surfaces marks and scratches, especially on the reverse. These patterns, if found at all, come circulated and in grades of F-VF. This example is a Judd-1983, a rarity 8 pattern with no more than 2-3 known for this type.
So whats the difference between J-1983 and J-1984?
I believe that is the pattern coin I saw at the Portland ANA Show. What a cool Merc to see. I cannot remember who had it but the coin was scheduled for a auction I believe.

What is the coin you have shown. I do not recognize it. I thought all of the pattern Mercs had the 6 tucked in under her neck. Is this the last pattern coin and the one that was used for the series ?

Well I know who's image it is and I know who owns the dime now. My image and the dime now belongs to fcloud. That was a just miss MS66FB coin. It does top the 23P that I put up here but ex dimes that I have owned do not count....

That is one fantastic looking Merc. I just love the dark teal/mossy look.
Russ,
Your's is nice too.
Different coin. You saw the one that Superior sold at Santa Clara. Here's a picture of that coin. (Edited to say that you probably did see the Hayes coin. I didn't remember that they were both there.)

It's the Jimmy Hayes Judd 1984. It has a great story, told here.

Well, where in the heck is "Mount Rushmore" or "The Great Plains?" to win this thing?
Thanks to LucyBop for this one
If I had it my way, stupidity would be painful!
Lets see if the morning crowd has anything to offer besides Kennedy's and Bald Franklins.
