Edward VII, 1901–1910. Couronne 1902. ESSAI en ARGENT par Spink. Le roi couronné chevauchant à gauche et tenant une épée de la main droite. Monogramme dans le champs en haut à droite / Ecu ovale ornementé. 36,12g. KM PPn 119; Seaby -.

D’une extrême rareté. A l’état de frappe. Superbe exemplaire. 6'000.-

Rare essai privé, à la composition archaïque mais pleine de charme. Cette monnaie s’inspire des Couronnes de Charles I (1625-1649).

coinkat, I have no idea, I just came across it, while browsing through the lots : link

It will be auctioned in Switzerland by Numismatica Genevensis SA, they have many other interesting lots. Some of the Greek coins are so nice and rare they make me want to cry.
