MOON show - Day 1

This is one of the two big shows in the Twin Cities. It was a pretty quiet time there today, being a rainy work day.

From a British coin perspective, the show was dismal - the worst in years. There were, however some finds:

* A 1953 2+A proof farthing, very scarce if not rare (along with the rest of the set).
* A BU 1926 threepence, very hard to find in true UNC. Dirt cheap too!

There were no good Victorian coins to be found there, copper, bronze or silver. Not a single one.

I also couldn't find a single Cook Is. dollar with the thingy on it (sorry, MadMarty).

Jeff Zarit ("jeffone") was there buying tons of world coins from those dealers who specialize in them. Unfortunately, he did not have a table there.

Edited to add: farthing picture. Colin Cooke's site calls it "extremely rare."
