To use Airtites with rings of white

Altough
not as pretty
The whites
would be safer

Today I switched all my coins to white ring Airtites. I have to agree with him on the silver coins. But my coppers look much better in the white. Especially anything with tone.

Thanks O' Dead One

I prefer the black and all of mine are in black.

I have talked to airtite about this and they said white or black it does not matter.

I only use the white rings for gold coins. I've never had problems with black rings.

I don't believe that was me, I have never had an issue with black-ringed Air-tites, but I may have commented that I prefer white rings with dark coins just from an esthetic point of view and as such that is what I am using with my Conder Token collection.

Let me be clear before the Air-tite™ legal team comes after me and ruins my life. I have never experienced a problem with either type of Air-tite™ holder, nor have I heard of anyone having problems with either type of holder. I do not believe I made a comment about the quality of one holder vs. the other and if I did make such a comment I did so in error.

If anyone has a link to the thread where this issue is mentioned please link to it for us, thank you.

I've heard the claim that white rings are better than black ones before a couple times here, too, but Dead One, I can't bring up a thread for you, nor vouch for the validity of that claim!

I believe it twas me...not only had I heard this from someone (perhaps tonelover from the Liteside) but I had a number of black rings disintegrate on me and stick to the interior of the air-tite and the coins. Luckily for me they were only Morgan's! image
