Edited to add that I just don't know what to say. This is shocking, although the steroid connection should make it less shocking.
All I know is Cammy was a great part of the 1998 Padres team, when he led the Padres to the World Series against the Yankees. There was even a song put out in San Diego about him, to the tune of The Macarena.
RIP Ken, and thank you.

Let's not forget that this guy was a severe cocaine user - so much so that he has to seek substance abuse treatment for it. Remember that?
However, given the availability bias here, even if steroids were not the cause of death, it is the easy way out and will likely be ruled cause of death even if his cocaine abuse was the real culprit.
Not saying that the steroid use (in his case abuse) did him any good.
Just my opinion.
Remember these Chuck Norris Facts
1. When Chuck Norris does a pushup, he isn't lifting himself up, he's pushing the Earth down
2. According to Einstein's theory of relativity, Chuck Norris can actually roundhouse kick you yesterday
3. There are no such things as lesbians, just women who have not yet met Chuck Norris
how many ball players under the age of 45 have to die before the players and more importantly the
league puts a stop to drugs?
Well at least football is dropping the hammer hard on druggies like Jamal Lewis!
Kids looking for role models need not look here!

The one I remember was to the tune of "I Want Candy" by Bow Wow Wow... regardless, I'd agree with the sentiment that this is sad although not incredibly shocking per se, especially with the cola abuse.
Yes, I collect shiny modern crap
All your Shaq are belong to me

yes, because levying a two game suspension for a cocaine trafficking charge is definitely stern punishment
Caminti death will be linked to coke and other drugs probably pain killers and alcohol. i doubt roids had much to do with it.
If (brain) cancer related I would suspect roids. Like you know....
