Looks like it's been cleaned with an eraser in the past, IMO. And there's no way that POS would grade AU-55 or even VF-20, especially with those scratches.

Absolutely counterfeit. Look at the date Russ, and compare it to a known good 1856.

Eric is right, the logotype for the date is all wrong. Here is an example of the correct one.

Chinese copy

It looks like the twin of the link above , but cleaned to give it a more authentic appearance.

This pic is genuine.Note the slanted 5.
