I have a sickness

Hy my name is Brad! I have a sickness and its coin hoarding.
Its been less than 24 hours since my last fix. It has been getting worse in the pass few weeks.
I seem to find myself at banks looking for rolls and even, yes even I have come to the low levels of ebay.
I cant stop myself!!!!

  • I am hoping to get my wife to do my dirty work me now and go to the bank and get me rolls of halves to satisfy my needs.

BTW are they doing 2004 rolls for banks? Or is this just str8 from the mint?

The Mint never issued rolls to banks - they only recently started selling rolls direct to the public once they realized they can make a fortune on them. The Mint packages coins loose in bags (now they are very, very large bags). They are rolled sometime after the Mint ships them.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

There's only one thing I've ever found that works; just give into it, surrender, capitulate, and enjoy.
    Tempus fugit.
  • I think you need a coin doctorimage
  • Good thing is I have a dealer price guide so Im not over spending.
Im 25 right now and I also inherited part of my grandfathers hoard. My grandkids are gonna have one heck of a collection.

Hey Brad---I know how to cure you of your sickness: Buy a Susan Anthony Dollar and stare at her portrait for five minutes. She's so ugly, you will never want to look at another coin.image

You have to stare at Susie for five minutes. I don't think it would even take a minute with Eunice.
