You can buy the coin for $33, or for an extra $16.95 it comes in a cardboard box that lights up when you open it.

"By 1890, Edison had organized his various businesses into the Edison General Electric Company. The Thomson-Houston Company and the various companies that had merged to form it were led by Charles A. Coffin, a former shoe manufacturer from Lynn, Massachusetts. These mergers with competitors and the patent rights owned by each company put them into a dominant position in the electrical industry. As businesses expanded, it had become increasingly difficult for either company to produce complete electrical installations relying solely on their own technology. In 1892, these two major companies combined to form the General Electric Company." - GE History

That's one of the funniest mint products I've ever seen!
Is there PVC in it?
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

No sir, that is 100% pure cardboard, how else could the mint keep the price of the box under $17?
Did I mention it lights up when you open the box?

Will I order one......Yes I will!
& Oppenheimer comms with an H-bomb
The Edison box is pretty neat though...
Sigh.
They say to remove the battery for long term storage. It looks like it has a sensor in upper left corner, so the light would only come on when the box is opened, but like the light bulb in the refridgerator, it's hard to tell. But I covered the sensor and the light stays on, so maybe mine's broken.
