I got something from the Mint but I chucked it right into the recycling bin without even opening it. Should I dig it out?

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

I did take the survey and if its used constructively it could produce improvements with US Mint services. I think its worth taking at least I feel better that I may have some say in future.

  • What questions were on the survey?

They start off with demographics, your age, how long have you been collecting..etc. Then they ask what media do you use most to order coins mail, telephone, internet...etc then they ask you to rate your experience with each. They ask what you collect how often do you buy how much on average do you spend in 6 months, 12 months? They ask you to rate the artisitic quality of the different series SQ's, ASE, Plat's, gold every series that is sold by the mint. They ask about the delivery what condition the coins arrive in, how timely it was sent. They also ask you to rate your experience with the customer service department and whether your complaint was handled fairly and remedied to your satisfaction. The survey is administered by a third party company. Which should keep it honest. In all it was a comprhensive survey. I am surprised by the fact that no one else has gotten this survey unless they choose to toss them and not respond.

  • I received one from a consulting company representing the Mint a couple of yrs. ago. After I completed it, they sent me a check for $20. That is the kind of survey that I can deal with.image
