Are you sure? They plausibly could have come out of an album. The colors aren't that brilliant, like most AT is as well.

wouldnt the rims be toned first and the center be left untoned? thats always the way I have seen them.

I don't know about the toning, but I can't begin to count all the fingerprints on that thing. Textile toning, my arse.

Just looked at it again. Lots of damage all over the place. Reverse rim is messed up around 1-2 oclock. Scratches to the right of the eagle. What looks like a long scratch running from about 7 oclock up towards the center on the obverse. With all the badness I keep seeing, the more I think that it is AT to draw your eye away from it all, and that it was fingerprinted prior to toning to give a textile appearance. Not one that I would pay full price for.

That's true, but it looks more to me as if they are toned, but just a color similar to the coin. Also, some albums will leave a ring of dust around the edges of coins that will wipe right off and is that color. The coin very well could be AT - it just doesn't "scream" AT as some others I have seen do.

I'm a newbie and can tell that thing has some serious finger prints on it. Would the finger prints make it tone those colors? If so then then did this one on purpose.

I would guess AT as well........the whole appearence of the coin just looks wrong to me......I wound't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

They don't look good to me. Albums do tone coins from the rims towards the centers with the rims being darkest, at least the ones I have seen. And I felt more confident in my first impression after reading CoinGuy1's response

I just think all his coins are AT for sure.........no way NT, not to beat a dead horse.

It sure looks like AT to me. Most coins that I have seen come out of albums do not look anything like this! I suspect a Q-tim and some chemical. I would guess that the idea here was to try to cover up a cleaning rather than go for "monster toning."
