Toned Morgan Sold on ebay

Greetings,

This recently sold on ebay. Greysheet price mid 700's for this coin without toning. Unfortunately
this coin is mostly toned on reverse. Photos also show a lot of scratching on Ms. Liberty's face and
neck. What to you guys think?

Not only does the seller post here, so does the buyer. It's a beautiful, authentic bag toned dollar.

The color looks good, so I don't fault the seller at all. The price was right with what someone would pay for a 66 with nice toning, but I question how it got into MS66 plastic with the scratches and dark spots on the obverse.

Well I just got it in my grubby little paws this morning and it looks pretty nice to me! Its probly not a shot 67 type coin but I WON'T be returning it. You can't beat color like that with a club.

Hmm...I'm still trying to find the "scratches" and "black spots"

The slab has a blue tint, so do the colors really look like that in hand ?

I got a chance to look at that coin at the Long Beach show and it is incredible!! I a good five minutes just looking at the way the color changes as you move the coin around. Congratulations on getting such an outstanding coin. I know you will enjoy it.

There are no scratches or dark spots on the obverse. A few very minor abrasions but nothing to reject the coin for IMO. And yes it looks like that in hand tho not quite as bright as it might appear on your monitor.
