They are a ligit company. Rare Coin Wholesalers out of Dana Point, CA. They have always have a display of incredibly rare coins at the major shows. Just surprised they are trying to sell a 2 million dollar coin on eBay.
I love this: Due to the severe weather conditions in the Southeastern United States disrupting so many usual business transactions, we are relisting this item.
Guess that means they are going to have to relist it again, with more severe weather in the southeast. We all know the all the high bidders are in Fla
The good news is you could probably negotiate it down to under 1 million
Just curious: are Rare Coin Wholesalers and Benchmark Ventures the same company? Both are out of Dana Point, and this coin was listed on Benchmark's site recently.
Who in their right mind would spend that kind of money without seeing it first...talk about crazy...If I had the 2 million and that was the coin I was looking for it would have to be in my hand before I would ever even attempt to buy it...just imagine what ebay's take on the listing is alone...just think what they would get on the sale!
If only it were graded by ACG. I'd be all over it!

That's exactly what I said in a previous thread about their first listing of the coin - my atrophied brain cells just can't recall if that thread was here, or on another forum.
I think a court would define "legit company" as a company that is properly organized and licensed to perform a legal function, and does so in an honest manner. By that definition these folks are absolutely legit!

There are some who might argue about that last part.
If you read the latest Coin World you can sign up to get their investment newsletter too. In it they will tell you what coins "not to buy" as well as what coins will do in an election year. I find the latter "advice" as sort of ironic since we only have about 4 weeks left until the election is over.

They're not gonna sell this on ebay; but the listing is cheap publicity, IMHO. Text
