If I understand the description of the "Platinum" level, I've got 8 "free" submissions coming........... Reading the fee schedule, it seems to me that I should use these for coins valued at 3K and up, and use the pay as you go submissions for the less expensive coins if I want to maximize the "freebies"......... Is this correct, or am I missing the way this membership works ???????

Yes it makes economic sense to submit your more expensive coins for your free submissions. You may want to ask around, to get a feel for what others are submitting and what their results are like. Also, don't forget the free quarterly special:
