The 1994 Remembrance proof dollar could be purchased either as an individual cased dollar or as part of the Limited Edition Proof Set (the LEPS were indeed limited as they were only made in 1994 and 1995).

To complete your set of cased 26.5 mm nickel bronze dollars you'll need the 1987 loon, 1992 Canadian 125th anniversary, and 1995 UN Peacekeeping dollar. This year the RCM issued its first proof 26.5 mm silver dollar (the Lucky Loonie proof).

    This loonie has no loon!

Even so, a fine looking coin.

If you wonder why I know this off the top of my head, it's because I'm writing an article on Canadian numismatic dollars. The RCM really offers a puzzling array of coin products. image

What a polite way of phrasing that!
