This auction raises so many red flags, the biggest being the fact that I so so want to bid on it, and win, and find the picture was just wrong and that I won a real 1796 Draped Bust Small Eagle Silver Dollar (or heck, for $250, a nice Seated Liberty No Motto Silver Dollar would be ok). Then I read the auction, and well, the rest of the red flags kick in, making the big red flag apparent.
I'm not totally familiar with your sense of humor yet, Ken, so I do hope you are joking. 1795 dollar described as VF with a photo that looks better than VF with a 49.90 opening bid with no reserve , bidders identities are private and the seller is in China???
I agree with Ken I dont see anything wrong with this auction, it looks like the seller prefers to sell with a private auction. Feedback is good and it looks like there are 14 bidders as of now on this coin that didnt mind.

The auction Wekar linked is clearly a counterfeit, though.
