VAMinistas and Peace Dollar collectors-- what should I look for in the following dates?

I'm going through a hoard of 438 silver dollars pulled from circulation between the 1930's and 1960's.

What varieties should I look for in the following dates/mintmarks?

One thing I noticed right off the bat is that one 1921-D has the mintmark punched much lower than the rest.

I assume you're liquidating. If you find any die breaks on those 21-D coins, give me a shout.

Thanks for the list. I got so tired of 1921 Morgans that I think I may have mixed EF and AU together.

You might try and search the dates with the biggest VAM premiums. Of course the highest premiums coincide with the highest grades. If you pull the AU-50/55/58's and list them here, I might be able to help you narrow your search based on the latest Top 100 value guide (by Michael Fey).

However they're going to be difficult to attribute if you don't have the VAM book. After you pull the highest grades, I would look for significant doubling and look closely at the mint marks. Don't get too excited about date doubling, since almost every Morgan has a doubled date. If you notice something unusual (doubling in the devices, RPM, die breaks, etc.), post pic and we can give it a try and attribute it. The challenge will be that almost every Morgan has something interesting to see. But recently we did a pretty good job attributing Darktone's recent purchase.
