    I decided on a Nikon Coolpix 4300 with a SL-1 Macro Light.
    My software is mediocre, however, and using Windows 98 (should use Windows 98 SE at least) is a bother.

    Nikon makes a good camera, you'll be very pleased with your results after a bit of a learning curve.
