1919 SLQ......Guess The Grade [Grade Revealed]

Been practicing with the camera and got these shots. Feel free to offer any opinions on the pics and guess what the grade is. Thanks in advance.

PCGS graded it MS65FH. Thanks for the replys.

If it is as Lusterous and Mark free as the Pic. I'd say it is a MS 66 NON FH

Rather a fuzzy picture. Cant see any rub and the luster seems wonderful.

Hard to tell if the head is FH or only 85% FH. Its hard to see if the earhole and 3 leaves are present

as well as the differentiation of the hair line and cheek. All in all looks like a nice MS-66 or even 67.

Coin looks to have a reasonably strong date for the year, full rivets on shield and full inner shield.

Looks mighty good in the photo. Please dont tell me its been whizzed or tampered with , cause then I would cry.

Don't worry Bear, its been graded by PCGS so it hasn't been whizzed.

I still can't see the ear detail, but I'll stick with FH.

BTW - According to ANA standards, only a MS70 can get a FH (eyebrows and everything perfect). PCGS and NGC don't follow that standard.

I had a SLQ PCGS AU-55 FH, so PCGS even gives the FH designation for non MS coins.

If they only used the ANA standard, no FH's would exist!

very nice coin - congrats! i've mentioned several times that for a coin that looks crappy in circ'd grades, 1919s from all mints can be found w/ exceptionally shapr strikes.

Karl, you're correct, the 1919 ' s have the best strikes of any SLQ. The image (even the retake) is still a bit too fuzzy to actually see the FH. But if PCGS says its a FH, I'll abide with their decision. Afterall, they knocked down two of my NGC FH's to Non-FH status, even with three leaves , a hairline and an ear hole. So this coin must have an incredible strike.
