A Possible Solution To "DNC"

Perhaps instead of THIS PCGS could put the slab that didn't cross inside one of its' slabs redesigned to encapulate the other slab in such a way as to show the original slabs' grade and the new LOWER PCGS grade. Yes it seems bizarre but haven't we been promised for some time that we will be told the ACTUAL GRADE of coins that Did Not Cross? After all, aren't people paying for PCGS' opinion of the grade as well as for the coins TO BE GRADED & NOT just for a partial opinion as to whether or not a coin is AT LEAST a certain grade?

Too much information is not always helpful. I'd rather not see costs back to me rise by a couple of bucks a coin to do it. Figure it's one grade lower than you asked for and you'll be right most of the time. Remember, it's ONLY AN OPINION and may vary next time you try to cross.

Interesting thought, but I would rather have PCGS give me the lower grade the coin would cross at instead of DNC. After all, I paid for their opinion.

They have talked about this for some time, but have not implemented it.
