PCGS collectors club question

This certainly sounds stupid, but what are the steps required to join at gold or platinum level? I tried to do it and I kept getting the same reply: "email already in use". And what happened to these nice wooden boxes that bosox was telling us about? They don't seem to be available anymore.


Just to clarify, these boxes were the final incentive for me to join for the first time and submit a few coins myself, and not through a dealer as I used to. But I'm stuck.

I probably did and had forgotten about it. They just emailed me my password again.




The boxes remain a mystery though.

You might try calling Customer Service and having them cancel the 'offending' email from the system. I've had to do that once, and frankly, their system is not user-friendly in that respect.

Barring that, simply sign up for a Hotmail email account to use just to join at the gold level or whatever. You'll have to sign on every 30 days or it will lapse, but not permanently.

Just call PCGS custome service, I can tell you from experience that CS at PCGS is the best, they'll be happy to help and be sure you get your box and such!
