    It looks really great. Nothing major and the marks look superficial. I would guess MS66PL. I always perfer my Morgans, if possible, if the cheek looks like she`s puffing it out like it is there. Not all of my Morgans are like that but, a great bonus when they are!

    According to this site: http://home1.gte.net/res05izg/morgan/strike.html the 1880 - S are typically above average in strike.

    66 PL or DMPL all the way. Awesome coin. Strike looks full to me, the camera just missed the breast feathers.

    That's a heck of a coin. That could entice a LOT of folks to jump on the Morgan bandwagon. Though looking at some of the prices these days, I wish a few would get off! image

    A nice dmpl is an excellent way to jump into morgans. I'll guess a 65dmpl.

    I suspect if it didn't make it during the green slab era when dmpls were easier than today, it will not make dmpl today.
    I brake for ear bars.

    The slab label may say 65-PL but to me the coin is saying MS-66-PL. Excellent pickup!!! image

    Looks like a very clean 65. Proof-likes always make the marks look worse than they really are. I'm not seeing that on this coin. Of course DMPL make the marks look even worse than a PL.
