A hopefull future card collector is born!!

Hey everyone! I was really looking forward to meeting everyone at the National this year in Cleveland, especially since it was in my backyard practically but a bundle of joy was delivered this week! My son, Michael Thomas King was born early Tuesday morning and finally came home today after spending a few extra days in the hospital. He was born 8 pounds 7 ounces (big boy!) and is doing great! As you can see he already has the collecting bug tooimage

Hopefully someday he will enjoy collecting cards as much as I do and we can enjoy this hobby together. Guess I'll have to start buying pokeman and yu gi oh, or whatever their called. Anyways, I'm going to the National on Sunday for a few hours and hope I run into a few of the board members and if not I look forward to meeting everyone next time!

    Congrats MetalMike....

Funny thing, I didn't make the 4 hour trip to the national because my wife is about to "pop" any day now with our first child. Her due date is in one week!

Some things are more important, like being here for the last week or so of a pregancy.....

Got to run she is calling for me to turn the air conditioning down and get her some ice cream...ugh.....

Congratulations Mike! But a Roger craig RC? Were you afraid to let'em hold the Marino or Elway RCs? Word to the wise... watch out, those little guys can bend cards just like Superman bending steel!
  • There were two options close by, a beat up Roger Craig rookie or a 1982 topps Walter Payton Psa-10.....as you can see I'm not a betting manimage

Congrats on the little boy. Had our's almost 7 months ago now. Your nights will never be the same. Just have to sing, take me out to the ball game and you are my sunshine and it works for me to get our little guy to sleep. Good Luck

Mike - congrats! The last 6 1/2 years since my son was born have been the best time of my life, and I'm sure your experience will be the same.

    Sleep is overrated anyway!
