I won't be setting up at this show because I will be returning from a week long cruise in the Gulf of Mexico. I might try and stop by on Sunday afternoon when I get back. I will be setup at the next show so see you guys there.

I've actually got family in town that weekend, so I may have to only spend 1/2 day there on Sat morning.

As a result, I probably won't have as much visiting time there as I'd like, but I may bring some duplicate Morgans to sell into this hot market image

I hope I can manage to make it. That's not the best weekend for me, but I might be able to get a couple hours in, at least.
  • One week off, we should make some plans on what time to meet on Saturday.

If I can squeeze it in, late morning to early afternoon would probably be best. I'm thinking 11 AM or so on Saturday.

If I still lived off FM1960 I'd be there.
    Prost!

Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.

See you there on Saturday. Plans may allow me to stay the entire day on Saturday. Please refer to my ad on BS&T Forum for list of Morgans that I will bring with me for sale & trade.

I will not have computer access prior to the show, and thus will not be able to respond to PM's or E-Mails prior to the show. I hope to see you there!

Excellent timing. Of course I'm not as heavily bukulated as I would like but it will be exceptionally fun if some of the Houston board members could at least all shake hands and match faces with niks. Is it possible to like wear a red dot on your pocket or something...is there precidence for this...is there a coffee room. I will be there Sat. after 9:30 so leave me something in this thread about our secret signal. Since Stuart started this thread, he gets the black bean to name a secret signal. Really looking forward to this chance to brouse the bourse and try some sneak attacks on unsuspecting indians. Thanks for the notice of the show!!!

I'm pretty bogged down with stuff this morning -- not sure I'll get through with it all in time. image
  • I was at the show today from 9:00 till about 1:00. The bourse floor was pretty crowded and seemed like a pretty good show. I was mainly there to sell some coins and was happy with those efforts, actually made a some money on almost all of them. I met Mhammerman there and enjoyed our talk and he purchased a nice $5 Indian at the show.

I may go back tomorrow with another bunch to sell since things went so well today. image

I arrived at the Bellaire Coin Show at 9:15 Saturday morning, and saw DizzleCC & LoanShark there image.

Activity was moderate to busy with most of the people crowding around the east side of the bourse floor containing certified Morgan Dollar Tables, Choice Type Coins & Gold.

Although I did not sell any of my 15 certified PL CC, 1884-S & other Morgan Dollars For Sale on the BS&T Thread, I did purchase 2 nice Morgans at today's show (no pics to post this weekend)..

I unfortunately missed meeting Louis at this show... image

The coin Bellaire coin show was plenty fun. Got to meet Louis as noted above and paid au 50/55 for a raw indian. I was amazed at the number of raw coins at the show in the high price ranges. No rays and arrows but some nice bust dollars and a nice trade dollar. The morgans seemed like they got a fair amount of play. Nice to get out among them again!
