Bowers and Merena has created some great posters over the years to promote their auctions. They probably have some in storage. Call their book department and see if they can help you.

I usually don't display any coin related things in my house but do keep
the Krause coin calender in the kitchen. They've shown some truly great
    coins from ancient to modern.

I have the Rockwell print hanging above my desk. It adds a nice touch to the room. Bought mine on Ebay, framed for $27

For many years, especially in the late 70's and early 80's, there were some very nice posters produced to promote major auctions, such as the ANA. I don't know if there are many of these done anymore.

  • I agree with smoe other members on the calender.I've got one from Krause.I think they put them out every year.

I also have a copy of the Rockwell print,It's not hanging on the wall,It was a gift from a friend.

I've seen a framed money bag from Carson City Mint along with two cc Morgans dollars in it,looked cool to me.I think it's still for sale,I would have to check.

Definitely! I have the one for the Virgil Brand collection. I had it framed. The Commeorative Society did a really good one for the Oregon Trail too.

I had a big poster of the Ed Trompeter or (possibly Bass)gold collection at one time some where around here, but seemed to have misplaced it.

In fact, it may have been the poster promoting the sale as Andy mentioned!

My father-in-law made me a small display that I can put 2x2s in. I bought a flecked 2x2 display insert and cut it to fit. In that my office is all in oak, he made mine in oak. A side interest of mine is the World's Columbian Expo of 1893. I have found elongateds from there that I have on display in this box. It is approximately 1 inch thick and 8 inches by 8 inches square. Along with this, I have collected tickets to the fair (not just admission tickets that are easy to find, but ride and food tickets that are much more difficult to find). I have put these into a frame and hang it alongside the coin display. Together, it makes for a nice wall piece.

At Dillon Gage we have posters which have the most popular bullion coins. It's designed for shops to hang on their walls to show people what different bullion coins look like if they don't have them in stock. if you want one I can probably send you one. Would just have to make sure it's ok with the boss and I'm 99.9999% sure he'd say it's ok.
  • Frame a sheet of 32 $2 bills. I did and hung it in the lobby of the Bank. Real traffic stopper.
