First pics with a new camera

I picked up a Nikon 4200 and I will play with this till I get it right. I have to get the white balancing down then I can try to image some toners. Here is my first attempt with a 60 Frankie.

Nikon makes a nice camera. These took me 2 minutes instead of the 2 hours my Kodak used to take me.

Hi Dare,

Great shot... I'm sure you're using the macro mode but... how close did you get to the coin? Did you have to crop a lot afterwards or did you get the coin to the edges of the frame?

Hi Spanky, Sorry it took so long to answer but I have been playing with this Nikon non stop. I took these in macro about 2 inches above the coin. I then cropped the images. I am still trying to get the best image, at a decent size, stored at under the 50 requirement on these boards. All this new software gives me stomach cramps, but I will nail it soon.
