Check out a Vanguard Roth IRA.
Starting a new set, in AU condition (except for the 1794 dollar, in VF).
Just the Holey Coin Vest and Holey Gold Hat, the 1901 British type set I am building for my daughter, and my detector coin finds. From a sentimental standpoint I value the detector finds the most, but the vest and hat are probably worth more monetarily. Even holed, some of those are still moderately valuable coins. And around ten of the coins on the Holey Gold Hat are real gold coins (with a few gilded pieces put on there for fun).

My favorite collection is my Peace Dollar set - trying to break into the top twenty.
made it up to #25 at one point but now I seem to be going backward (#28, no #29, no #30).
Help I'm falling and I can't get up!!!
I guess that fg 1934-S AU53 is killing my set rating, looking for any 1934-S in a PCGS 'MS' grade.

1) My James II gold half guinea date set 1686-88 in Fine, all of three coin to get, i have one third of this collection!
2) The Sixpence date set 1674-1787... 30% complete.
3) The British monarch set, one coin of each monarch from 978-1901 So Æthelred II to Victoria... 60% complete and it includes hammered and milled gold, hammered and milled silver and tin. Some rare coins plus some very common ones. Obviously most of the sixpences and the James II gold fits in here too.
But i'm starting a US 20th century Denver mint gold coin collection from 1906-1914 all grading roughly VF-EF... Max grade EFcos i'm short of cash as it is and i'm trying to fund all these other collections too.
Plus the Philliy mint Washington Quarter set 1932-1964 in MS60 unslabbed.
My almost comlete Julian Roman Emperor Denarius set is one of my favorites.
Collecting coins from the Kwarezm is most interesting to me at the moment.
That's the great Kwarezm Empire just before Ghengis Khan exterminated them (with pretty good cause too). A lot of interesting history around there.
My modern US large cent collection is my modern favorite. I'll have to start slabbing them one of these days.
I have a great set of IKE dollars, I am complete for all three sets, I am just waiting on the PCGS grading return of the elusive 1972 Type 2 I found
to have it totally complete. Unfortunately, being something like #67 in the PCGS pecking order tends to deflate one's ego.
<< <i>I think my ancient coins hold the most value to me, even if no one else likes them.

The ancients sound interesting to me... I like the old stuff.
And nooo don't slab the Cents leave them free, free from entombment!
