Why does this look fake to me?

I can't pinpoint a reason, I could be totally wrong, but it just doesn't look right to me for some reason. Input?

Looks like an awful lot of detail for hardly any luster - from the photo it is hard to tell - it could be real, it could also be cast.

It appears to be Obverse 3 for this year.
