    ok ok.
I've been working feverishly and here is the pic of my camera just as promised.

I will try (no promises) to get an image of the coin tomorrow sometime.

  • I'm only interested in buying coin hype, not the coin itself. Coins are everywhere, but you try buying quality hype that hasn't been worn out like a nickel in a Vegas slot machine. Just how many times must I see "dripping with lustre"? Ever seen any lustre drips on your desk or floor? It's been so overused that you'd think that one's floors would be so slippery from all the dripped lustre that one's home or office could be deemed unsafe.

geez, I forgot about this coin.

I really need to get to work on it. I owe it to you guys.

Great are you done for the evening? Let us know when you post some more, put the pics up etc. etc.

Oh BTW, since you seem to be a good guy I will
give you a tip..... get the thread TTT anyway you can. Get in an argument with someone it don't matter just TTT so these fools will click on your website. I know I know, most of your business doesn't come from this board and you are not a spammer, but come here first and spam it. It works. OH, another tip, have you buddies TTT and have a little chat session every time you list a coin. Most won't realize or care because they want to suck up to you thinking they might get a great deal and an under-graded coin. Good luck to you Goose.

First, its luster not lustre. image

I've scotchguarded the carpet in my office, and that keeps the luster from bonding after it cascades off my coins...I can vacuum it right up. My desk is a different matter; it has taken on a glistening satin sheen that even withstands brisk cleanings with Formula 409.

You can't certify a coin while it is still dripping with luster either...that goop clouds up the interior surface of the plastic. I usually have to let my raw material dry in the Texas heat for two to three weeks before sending it in for grading.

maybe you should use scotchgaurd, as when I was there i saw lustre spots all over that carpet, i didnt mention em cause I didnt want you to get the impression I was playing hazel...

  • Goose...

What's your asking price on an empty 2x2 with the following comments written upon it:

    BLAZING WHITE!
    PQ+++
    MoNsTeR!
    LusterLusterLuster!

I'll be willing to pay per comment, with a premium if there are any misspelled words (error hype!). image
    You shout in your sleep.
Perhaps the price is just too steep.

If I buy the coin and hype at the same time, how much will they cost as a set? Does hype cost the same as the 15% buyer's fee most auction houses charge?

In this situation we have a rare phenomena. I think the hype here is actually worth many multiples of the coin.
