A couple of snipes - update your Krause

Greece 1869BB 10 lepta KM 43 listed at $80 in unc.

I have the entire 1869 series in BU full lustre coins ,except for the 10 lepta .
Still not what I expected but well above average and a nice upgrade of my Anacs MS61 BRN.

1884A 20 drs gold NGC MS64. KM56 $250 in unc

A common gold coin in conditions up to EF, but even then selling for at least twice its melt value,
this is really hard to find in MS63 and above.

I bought a raw BU similar coin back in 1998 that PCGS graded MS63, for 120000 drs back then.
It was a lot of money compared to the 40000 of the common VFs.
With the dollar's low rate, the final price of this one is the equivalent of 150000 drs 6 years later, inflation not counted.
Therefore (I believe) a good price for an underrated rarity.

I forgot to mention that we oldtimers, still count in drachmas, even if we use the euro.


And by underrated rarity I meant condition rarity. I wish it was in a PCGS slab really. They're stricter with gold.
