Another monarch off the list

Put this on reserve. It's a penny from Eadgar 959-75, S-1129 Text

  • Wow, now that is old!
So many coins, so little money!

  • Very nice. Are you doing a monarch set? If so, are you using short cross pennies for Richard and John or territorial issues?

Edit to add: And Edward VIII also?

That's a really nice looking piece of antiquity.

Edward VIII is a bit of a challenge, even if you had $100,000-$500,000 to spend. Might have to settle for a 1936 coin, issued during his reign.

Another fantastic coin, Python!!! I'm impressed. It's at least XF, too.

Donovan, I have a couple Eddie VIII coins. However, they're from the colonies. Good enough for me!

  • Donovan, I'm doing a monarch set but only hope to complete William I to Victoria. I'm using the short cross
pennies but I'm having a hard time finding a nice Richard.
