Look what I got tonight - A lincoln guy goes GOLD!

Link

Its in an old NGC holder. Compared to all of the PGCS 67's at the aution this coin was clearly better without exception. It went for a premium but this was the finest St. (except the High Reliefs) at the aution.

Noooooo. What are you doing... that money could have been used for a nice early mintmarked Lincoln...

    Just kidding. Nice coin.

I've never been much into Saints, but that coin is definitely a keeper. Did you get the chance to see it in person?

Oh yea, thats what sold me. I decided to go through the lots of $20 Gold, knowing I would just drool and not buy. I pulled all the 67's out, the high reliefs and was in awe. I then hit this coin and was stunned, its like seeing an early Lincoln in 67RD. Just magic. I was able to compare it to all of the 67's, even the PCGS 67's and it was a nicer coin IMO. She does have a hit nearly dead center but that is the only hit I could see on the coin in person. The scans show a few more minor ticks but the coin is ultra clean. Old NGC holder, maybe she will upgrade????

  • Those high grade saints with superior eye appeal are my first love. I will die still owning at least one of them if I am able to stay in my right mind! Your new Saint is an exceptional example. Enjoy! image
