I own at least a dozen, purchased originally from the Teletrade auctions. Wish I could post pictures but have problems with computers. Only traded away one and wish I didn't. Won't happen again! Even my wife thinks they're pretty. Ray

There were thousands of the Morgan and Peace dollars. The original hoard of mint state rainbow beauties were mostly sold by Teletrade. But, there were a few that had less of a rainbow and were sold I believe 1 coin per lot of at least $1000 worth of coins right from the original purchaser. Most of the really nice rainbows are either being kept by collectors or being sold at even higher premiums. I believe the first lot of rainbow Binions were 6 of them sold in Jan 02. Teletrade sold all their rainbows from NGC in 2002. The first 6 were sold at a minimum of $450 plus juice. NOw there's a "new" batch sold in gray labeled holders that are no where near as nice as the NGC original batches. Hope that helps a little. You can also go to www.Binion.com and probably still get mopre info. The web site was still up last time I checked. Ray

I have two, one of each variety of holder. (Some of the holders are labeled Binioncollection.com and some are Binionsilverhoard.com. NGC 9N1 and 9N1a)

One Morgan -- an 1880-P in the "ungraded" type of "NCS holder (probably MS-63) ... I purchased it for 3 reasons:

    (1) Binion
    (2) Example of NCS Morgan to see how it was conserved and how it looked after conservation...
    (3) It was a nice BU looking 1880-P which is a bit tougher than the first tier common dates
