can't believe I actually bought a gold coin....I must be losing it. anyway, here she is--freshly cracked out of a green pcgs holder.... As always, the coin looks better in hand, and the pics stink.

Pretty coin, though.
In hand you can actually distinguish the line in the headband--even though fairly weak. The coin graded EF45 a la pcgs. i still have no idea what sparked this purchase--can't be maturity since i'm still a newbie, but I wouldn't mind the challenge of collecting the series in XF/AU....

Not eeeww, as in "bad coin", just eeeww as in "LordM does not like to grade".
An Indian cent now, I wouldn't have been afraid to give an opinion on.
Guess I'll go with the folks who said EF (or XF, if you prefer). High VF/low EF. A 35 to 40, numerically speaking. That's where I'll hang my hat, anyway. Pratt Indian gold, Peace dollars, and Franklins are what I consider my weakest series, gradewise.
