  • I thought it was a very nice 64

It looks uncirculated to me. Branch mint proofs have a different look, so I will go out on a limb and say it looks like a business strike to me.

Looks sharply struck, with luster. I don't see much in the form of distractions. A few ticks here and there. ms/65?

Are the images hiding anything? Looks neat.

Can't really tell from this scan but that coin looks pretty clean to me. Based solely on the pic provided, I'm with JBSteven in that I think it's high grade. In-hand, it might be a whole different story.

I'm not going to even venture a guess on this one, the image isn't good enough for that. I will say it appears to be a very nice coin.

I hate it when you see my post before I can edit the spelling.

That toning is unquestionably original bag toning. The only question is what the colors actually appear to be, and what the MS grade is, which is hard to tell by the image.

MS65-66, but I would dip it first before submitting it.

MS64. The toning looks a bit dark for a higher grade. If the toning is in fact nice, I'd grade it MS65.

  • Toning isn't hiding any distracting marks, it has the small bagmark on the cheek and nose, all in all its pretty clean in the fields, color is more cobalt blue in hand and reverse is more attractive in hand. Thanks for comments. I found this one at a flea market in the mountains of NC a couple of years ago.
