I don't think this is fishy at all. It is quite clearly an auction for a fake coin.

A rare, raw coin from China - looks genuine to me.
I'd throw down a bid of $25,000 for starters.

BTW, I recently submitted a tip to the FBI (www.fbi.gov) about selling
of unmarked fake coins on ebay. I was referred to the internet crimes
division and never followed up. It's still a felony to sell fake US currency,
you know.
