I just listed a 1898o morgan on ebay. looking for opinions on grade.I still can't seem to post picks here. even when I scan at 50k it still says file to large. Thanks Ebay item # 3903431969

    The dullness is due to the image being a scan. I would call this a MS62/63.

    JB, if and when he starts posting 10-30 coins he has for sale a week here, then flame suits will be needed.

    are you implying I post 10-30 coins for sale a week here or are you referring to someone else?

    JB, you aren't now. I suspect you got the message a few weeks ago. But you have in the past, especially with some of the long picture threads.

    This is a totally different case anyhow. In this case, the OP isn't sure of the grade, says so in the auction, and asks for people to tell him what they think it grades. Very different than posting images of coins that have been professionally graded.

    I'm not going to get into it with you again over this. As I said, one way or the other you got the message and have stopped doing it.

    As for this guy's auction, I got the ball rolling. Good luck with it, it is a decent coin for someone on a budget.

    For the record before you came back on the board I hardly ever posted pictures on this board and when I did it was one at a time when someone posted something similar to what I own. That is a fact that I want you to realize. OK?

    I don't mind being called on current things but PLEASE get your facts straight. OK?

    Look JB, if you don't want to hear about it stop interjecting comments into threads like this. As long as you do it, people like me who have seen you in action in the past will say something.

    The bottom line is you stopped doing it. Now move on and stop trying to bring it back up onto others who in no way, shape, or form are spamming the board like you did.

    I don't know what all he fuss is about all Iwas looking for was some other opinions. Yes the coin looks much nicer then the scan shows.I said I would give it at least AU in my add, but it will probably go 62 im not to sure.

    it's hard to tell with a black & white picture; why did you use a black & white picture? Anyway it looks like some light rub on the cheek so I'd say AU58 but it might actually be around MS62/63.
    Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

    The rub on the cheek is what made me say AU . I am new to this computer stuff and forgot to change my color setting on the scanner.The coin has a real nice cartwheel and good eye appeal.I don't want to be accused of over grading so I tend to under grade.
