ANR Auction(American Numismatic Rarities)

I have to complement ANR. The live auction on the computor mode was efficient,

easy to work, fast and informative. I especially appreciated the 5 second warning

before the hammer fell. The pictures seemed just fantastic, although another Forum member

said that coins were a little bit darker then the pictures showed. All in all, this is a class

Auction house with a friendly staff and what appears , so far, to be most efficient and enjoyable

to work with.image

I agree. I thought the whole auction was handled well. Great pics, great coins, easy to use live bid. My only problem is that I was outbid on all the coins I wanted. Geeeez, they went for big money!

I was watching a couple of items. The 1797 MS66 Half went for $966k with the juice, and the MS65 1795 Flowing Hair Dollar went for $264,500.

None! Can't spend that kind of money since we are building a new house. I am trying to appropiate a few dollars here and there to pick up the 96-S and 04-S Morgans I need, but I'm afraid these kind of coins will be a while. image

I agree wise Bear - they are a first class act indeed - I hope they will stay nutural and maintain both PCGS & NGC material - however that aside I am totally impressed.
