Went to Lower Klamath wildlife refuge today. Saw a lot of assorted geese, swans, ducks and 3 eagles. Wanted a good eagle shot but none were close enough to get a good shot. Went there once and an eagle was on a fence post next to the road and just sat there until it was about 3 feet from my wifes window. I didn't have my camera that time. This will have to do.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. Went out to shoot some Eagles, and did not see any. Since then I have seen many. I really love early spring/late winter for the number of eagles you see.
