Anybody know this bidder..

A bidder from New York (ebay id asdjsdcrtt) won one of my items two weeks ago and he has not replied to any of my emails or paid for the item.
For some reason he has already left me positive feedback!
I have notified ebay that he is a non paying bidder.
How long should I wait before I neg him?
Any help would be appreciated.

His recent feedback does not show him to be a bad eBayer. Something not right here.

  • That is the reason I have been sending reminders, when somebody has good feedback there is usually a reason behind any blackout!

  • I would not give him a negative at all.
He may have some sort of computer problem or family crisis.
If his past record indicates he is a good bidder, why trash him?
It could actually be an honest mistake of some kind.
I hope he contacts you though because I can understand your situation as well.

ebay identity theft? That happened to me. Someone took my account and started selling ATVs on my ebay account about 4 months ago. Thankfully they were headsup about it and suspended my account until we could get in touch and clear it up.

Did you get his contact info and call him?
  • I had an item that I sold the other week to a fellow with thousands of feedbacks. After a week of emails, he finally answered that he had finally recieved my email, and that he actually had not recieved any of the others. He was about to contact me to see if I was having problems. It all worked out very well, with me getting paid and both of us getting good feedback....Ken

I had a bidder contact me initially, then never sent payment.

Never replied to any of my other emails.

She left me positive feedback that I kept on top of things, but she chose not to buy the item!

I've left nonpaying bidder notifications, and next week when I request my fees be refunded I WILL leave negative feedback!

I will, however email and warn her ahead of time that a neg. feedback is coming.
  • Thanks for the comments, if I do not hear from the bidder in the next twenty four hours I will leave a neutral and relist the item.

    Tonyhar,

Why don't you get ebay's contact info on the person and try calling them? Maybe your emails are not making it through? Maybe their emails to you are not making it through (happened to me). I called the person, left vmail, got a call back the next day and payment was here 3 days later. No hassle, no fuss, no muss. They said they appreciated the call and was wondering why I wouldn't reply back to them.

To file in 2 weeks is kind of quick isn't it? If you haven't tried calling them and you are that worried about your payment and item, then I think you are not being a good, conscientious, seller.
By the same token, he should be trying to call you, but I know that, as a buyer, I never really knew you could get the contact info to call.....it wasn't until I found these boards that I heard about that.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Sometimes eBay cracks me up. I had a newb, (6 feedback), win three of my auctions recently worth a total of about $70. Within minutes of the close he left me three glowing feedbacks about the coins. So, a few days later I get payment in the mail, and it's CASH! Good thing I'm honest. image

I have left a posiive feedback.
Many thanks for comments they saved a negative feedback being given.
