Old Copper experts - Can you identify this?

It could possibly be a farthing maybe peck 857. What size is it?

Edited to add: I am no copper expert but I do have this book...... and I have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express before.

I would agree but it looks as though the letter at 3:00 on the reverse is an "A". I've been perusing Breen's Encyclopedia and cannot locate any reference to this coin. I suspect that this coin is 1730 and is not a coin that circulated in the Colonies. Any collectors in British or European coinage out there? A little help!

I had that problem too with the lettering, but i fgiured i would throw that out there, in case it look different in real life.

1730 british half pence, genuine, not a contemporary counterfeit. I don't think they struck any in 1739. (of course I'm working from memory. Cosmicdebris gives a catalog number though so I may be wrong. But he pictures a 1734 so I'm not sure if he was showing a type or if that coin actually relates to the catalog number he gave.)

I am not totally sure on the 9 or 0 but Spinks does list a 39. As for the 34 you are correct type picture only.
