I agree Bear, very cool mintmark indeed! Besides, the government actually had the smarts to locate it close to where all the silver was!

But the neatest mint mark are the obverse mint marks of the late 1830's. And my vote goes to the 1838-0 and 1839-0 halves.

From what I see, CC coins seem to be much more expensive... maybe if they were made in Charlotte they'd be cheaper...
