Thanks all for your prayers...Geez, a tear came to me eye. What I had/have is 3 hernias repaired, not laproscopic surgury, but the OLD way. Right now, the pain's unbearable...I'd much rather go through having my hips replaced again than this...GEEZOOO. Can't even sit here for any extended duration...

That's sadder than the pain!

Again, thanks all for your concern and prayers. By the way, I left explicit orders with my older son, that in the event I didn't wake up or something other than that had occured, to please fulfill my ebay sales. Even dead, I wouldn't want my good name tarnished...I'm convinced.... this is a SICKNESS

sorta reminds me of the time when I was in grad school in Milwaukee a long time ago. One of the other students in the group when he found out I was going deer hunting had these words of comfort. "If you get shot, can I have your bicycle?"

What kind of hernias did you have? I had minor outpatient surgery back in October to repair an umbilical hernia, where they cut you open and insert that mesh thingie. All I know is, if that was minor surgery, I don't want to know what major is! Glad to hear you made it through okay.
